First Day of National Native American Heritage Month

The month of November was declared as National Native American Heritage Month by George H.W. Bush officially in 1990. The month of Nov is dedicated to recongnizing the contributions, culture, and history of Native Americans. 

Daylight Savings Time Ends

Daylight Savings Time ends today! Don't forget to roll back your clocks 1 hour. 

Most devices like phones and computers will automatically change. Many non-smart devices such as microwaves, some car radios/clocks, and clocks with hands will need to be changed manually.

 

The U.S. first officially recognized daylight saving time in 1918, when President Woodrow Wilson signed the Standard Time Act into law.
