Please be aware, there are new city ordinances to help & protect our community. These new ordinances were discussed and approved by the City Council during the City Council public meeting on 03/21/2025 held at the Kress Senior Citizen building.

New City Ordinances:
- Ordinance No. 20250318C – Mandatory Microchipping of all dog(s) located within the City of Kress city limits. It is the responsibility of the dog owner to ensure that their dog is microchipped and that their contact information is kept updated in the microchip registry.
- Ordinance No. 20250321D – Regulations against illegal parking within the City of Kress city limits that pose a danger to public safety, obstruction, and negatively impacts the quality of life for residents.
- Ordinance No. 20250321B – Prohibits the use of Recreational Vehicles (RV) as permanent housing within the City of Kress city limits. This includes any motorhome, trailer, camper or similar vehicle designed primarily for recreational or temporary living purposes including but not limited to travel trailers and fifth-wheel trailers.
- Ordinance No. 20250321A – Regulation the placement of mobile homes within the City of Kress city limits establishing restrictions on the number of mobile homes per lot, age requirements and skirting requirements. No more than One (1) mobile home per lot, all mobile homes at the time of placement must be no older than ten (10) years, and all mobile homes must have skirts installed.
