City Hall

Kress City Hall is home to the City Mayor, City Council, City Maintenance and other City Departments. It is located at 308 Skipworth Ave. Kress, TX 79052 and can be reached by phone during buisness hours at: (806) 684-2525. Payments to the city can be made during business hours, after hour payments can be made anytime online or by using the letter drop off located on the front door of City Hall.

Council meetings are currently held at the following location:

City Council Public Meetings take place monthly. Special meetings may be added.

Public City Meetings agendas are posted in the window at city hall 72 hours in advance and can be viewed online.

City Council Meeting Agendas 

Public meetings are broadcasted live on the City of Kress Facebook page day of the meeting. The broadcast may experience internet connection issues.  VOD (Video On Demand) which are recorded uninterrupted video(s) are posted no later than 72 hours or three complete business days after meeting has concluded. VODs will remain posted for at least 365 days.

You may make written request for open records as stated in Texas Government Code, Chapter 552.  Certain exceptions may apply to the disclosure of information. The City of Kress will promptly release requested information that is not confidential by law, either consitiutional, staturtory or by judicial descision.  

Open Records

Under the Texas Public Information Act, You have the right to request records from all goverment bodies & they must respond prompty, if the information is not confidential or otherwise excepted from disclosure.

All request must be written or typed, sent via mail, email, contact form, or handed to the City in person. Please provide a detailed description of the information/record(s) you are requesting and include your name and address, dated and signed.
